Vision of the Burning vine (Ezekiel 15)

The vine becomes a symbol of Judah, and the burning of a useless vine which bears no fruit is the destruction of the people of God. The abominations of Jerusalem are so great as to warrant the most severe punishment. This vision of doom is followed by the parable of the unfaithful wife.
